E. Shaw and Son Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. We will never sell your information to third parties or share it with other organisations, unless necessary to perform our contract with you, or to provide you with further information on our services. We may collect the following personal information from you in order to fulfil your booking:

1. Names of all persons travelling

2. Contact details of the lead booker

3. Passport details (if travelling internationally)

4. Holiday travel insurance details (if you've arranged it separately)

5. Dietary information (if applicable)

6. Emergency contact / next of kin details

7. Credit / debit card details, or other payment information, for the person making the booking

8. Details of any medical conditions or disabilities which may affect you or those travelling with you

We may provide your personal data to the following third parties:

1. Transport operators (ferries, airlines, trainlines etc.)

2. Hotels

3. Local agents and guides

4. Excursion and activity providers

5. Our travel insurance provider

6. ShareThis (as per our cookie policy)

7. Google Analytics (as per our cookie policy)

8. Mailchimp (if you have signed up to receive our eNews or eBrochures)

9. Mailing houses (if you have signed up to receive our brochures by post)

We process data for the following reasons:

1. To perform our contract with you

2. For marketing purposes

3. To contact you in response to any general or specific enquiries made by you

4. To process any applications made in connection with any job vacancy

5. For internal record keeping

6. To comply with our legal obligations to share data with law enforcement

7. To ensure effective Human Resources, personnel management, and business administration

If any/all of the above apply then you would have a legitimate interest in hearing from E. Shaw & Son. We also process your data in order for us to comply with our legal obligations. 

You have the following rights:

1. To request access to the data which we hold about you. We will provide you with this information within one month of the request

2. To have personal data corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete

3. To request erasure of personal data. We will confirm if the data has been deleted or tell you the reason why it cannot be deleted

4. To request a restriction or stop on processing your data. We will confirm if we are able to comply or if we have legitimate grounds to continue. If data is no longer processed we may continue to hold the data to comply with your other rights

5. To request that we transfer your data to another controller. Any such request must be confirmed in writing

6. To complain about our collection and use of your personal information to the Information Commissioners Office, Water Lane, Wycliffe House, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements.
