Double Celebrations for The RPO & RAH

Not only have The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra just celebrated their 75th Anniversary Season but their beloved home, The Royal Albert Hall, has just celebrated its 150th birthday too!

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra are rounding off their 75th anniversary celebrations and looking ahead to an exciting 2022-23 season that starts next month. Their new partnership with new Music Director, Maestro Vasily Petrenko, has meant standing ovations and set a high benchmark for the coming season.

The Royal Albert hall was officially opened in 1871 with their 150 year celebrations running well in to 2022 after the dreaded Covid delays! The Hall have put together a lovely video that captures some special memories from Eric Clapton, Paul Weller, Sting, Sir Cliff and many more incredible artists that have taken time to reminisce over their performances here.
