Carol, Graham, Jason, Les, Jane (and all the team) would like to thank everyone who joined us in Eastbourne - we thoroughly enjoyed your company. We'd also like to thank all the suppliers who helped to make the weekend so enjoyable starting with another great buffet lunch at Top Meadow Golf Course. Everybody was impressed by Saturday's visit to Lancing College Chapel - it's the largest school chapel in the world - and we really appreciated the information about this beautiful building that was imparted by our guides from the Friends of Lancing College Chapel. We learned about the Earth's story during a visit to the Observatory at Herstmonceaux and some of us enjoyed testing our skills on the interactive exhibits before we rounded off the weekend with a tasty Sunday roast at the Mercure Hotel at Royal Tunbridge Wells. Last but by no means least, we are very grateful to the team at Eastbourne's Lansdowne Hotel, where we received first-class service throughout. Even the rain stayed away and whilst many of us enjoyed a stroll or two along the prom, we all managed to resist the temptation to join the hardy early morning swimmers!
