This week we had our first 'virtual' retirement as we said a fond farewell to Philip ('Pip') Pearson after being with us for an impressive 35 years! Philip has been with us from the early days of day trips and coach outings for lots of local senior citizens, he's taken thousands of local children to school (including Richard and Chris's children) and, latterly, he's been a popular regular driver (especially with his mum) on the Deeping-Spalding service that we operated for many years.

With his retirement, we lose a longstanding family connection as Philip's father, Cecil, and two of his uncles all worked for our father. We send him and Rosa our very best wishes for many happy years of retirement with their family, along with our sincere appreciation of so many years of loyal service. Thank you Pip!
