Sunday

Check in with porterage included.

Monday

Get to know the Welsh capital this morning with a two-hour guided tour of Cardiff taking in the bay, waterfront, barrage and Penarth seafront. Afterwards there’ll be free time for you to explore this wonderful city for yourself - perhaps the Castle, Millennium Centre or National Museum? This afternoon we’ll visit an architectural wonder of Wales – 17th century Tredegar House with exquisite state rooms and elegant walled gardens.

Tuesday

Take a scenic coach journey through the Black Mountains with time to enjoy the market towns of Abergavenny and Brecon. This afternoon we’ll take a return journey on the Brecon Mountain Railway passing the Taf Fechan Reservoir and climbing to Torpantau Station, high in the Beacons and following part of the original line that closed in ’64.

Wednesday

Spend the morning in the historic border town of Chepstow, in the lower Wye Valley with an imposing Norman Castle, independent shops and handsome Georgian and Victorian buildings in the centre. Continue on to Dewstow Gardens & Grottoes for a unique outdoor experience along landscaped paths through decorative beds, waterfalls and pools with a labyrinth of tunnels and grottoes underneath your feet. See full inclusions for today's flexible travel options.

Thursday

Take the scenic route home along the Wye Valley, stopping in the pretty, riverside village of Tintern, then historic Monmouth with traditional buildings full of independent shops and eateries.
