Monday
Check in with tea/coffee/biscuits on arrival.
Tuesday
Spend the morning enjoying a stroll along the prom before taking a ride out to the quaint, picture postcard village of Beer. Expect a gentle shingle beach with colourful boats containing the ‘catch of the day’. Finish the day on the Seaton Tramway in the glorious Axe Valley. Let the scenery roll by as you journey on these traditional tramcars through two nature reserves within the River Axe Estuary.
Wednesday
Spend the morning at Bicton Park’s Grade I listed gardens, where 300 years of horticultural history have created a setting to remember! Don’t miss the impressive Palm House and the unique Shell House. Unwind with a relaxing afternoon cruise on the River Exe departing from Exmouth Marina. This award-winning stretch of water is a wildlife haven where migrating birds make for magnificent viewing in the autumn/winter.
Thursday
After a leisurely morning we’ll spend a the afternoon at Forde Abbey & Gardens. This former Cistercian Abbey has a rich history and the beautifully landscaped gardens were nominated for Historic Houses ‘Garden of the Year' in 2019. Expect to find formal herbaceous borders coupled with meandering pathways.
