Our Reunion short breaks are an opportunity for us to thank you for joining us on our Great Days Out and Door2Door Holidays, to catch up with all the many friends that we’ve made over the years and, of course, to warmly welcome new customers. This year, we’re delighted that our inclusive break will be held at The Lansdowne Hotel on Eastbourne’s seafront. This charming hotel is family-run, like ourselves, but with a 10 year head start on us, having been owned since 1912. It boasts wonderful views across the beach opposite and is just a short, level walk from the pier. This elegant Victorian property offers a relaxing environment with a traditional, cosy atmosphere.

Friday
Our journey to Eastbourne includes a light buffet lunch at an Essex Golf Club (much enjoyed on our 2023 tour). We arrive at the hotel late afternoon and you can relax over tea (or coffee) and biscuits whilst your luggage is taken to your room. Enjoy a complimentary drink (wine, beer or a soft drink) with dinner, which will be followed by evening entertainment.
Saturday
Join us for a ride along the Sussex Downs towards Lancing where we have arranged a visit to a remarkable Gothic masterpiece – Lancing College Chapel. The building's foundation stone was laid in 1868 and dedication of the chapel took place in April 2022. Members of the ‘Friends of Lancing Chapel’ will guide you through the chapel’s journey. The tour will be followed by a light lunch (soup and a baguette) at a nearby hostelry and we’ll return to Eastbourne via the coast road, arriving back at the hotel early this afternoon. Relax at the hotel, head into the town centre or enjoy a fresh stroll along the prom before retiring to your room to change for dinner. We’ll look forward to seeing you for a pre-dinner drink and to stepping out on the dance floor later.
Sunday
Depart after breakfast for our homeward journey which features a fascinating visit to The Observatory at Herstmonceux where knowledgeable guides will bring to life the 300 year history of the domes and telescopes at this world famous astronomical observatory. Round off our weekend together with a Sunday lunch before heading home.
