Stay in the most beautiful corner of England as we tour the magnificent scenery of the Lake District National Park. This tour allows you to experience the Lakeland fells and valleys by steam train, boat, mini-coach and executive coach – a varied programme that allows you to enjoy the landscape from lots of different perspectives, all of which should prove immensely enjoyable. All this is complemented by staying at a lovely hotel on the banks of the River Kent, with a cosy bar balcony over the water on which to enjoy a late summer drink.

Enjoy The Lakes scenery en route to the hotel.
Tuesday
Begin with a scenic steam journey on the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Railway, through the Leven Valley to the bottom of Lake Windermere. From here, sail across the tranquil lake to Bowness and enjoy a short walk to the enchanting World of Beatrix PotterTM where treasured childhood tales have been magically recreated and a tempting café awaits.
Wednesday
Enjoy the bustle of Kendal’s weekly market before setting sail once more from Pooley Bridge to Glenridding on Lake Ullswater. Ullswater Steamers have been sailing across these beautiful waters for 160 years, it’s a wonderful way to take in the view. We’ll take the scenic route, over Kirkstone Pass, back to the hotel.
Thursday
Adventure off the beaten track in mini-coaches that can access unique routes through this incredible scenery on our 'Ten Lakes Spectacular' tour. This exhilarating journey includes a visit to the 4,000 year-old Castlerigg Stone Circle set high on the fells, offering panoramic mountain views. Your passionate driver/guide will be happy to answer any questions you may have about this mesmerising landscape, there’ll be a lunchtime stop in Keswick and photo opportunities throughout.

Enjoy a scenic ride home through the Yorkshire Dales.
