Absorb Solent views during the crossing and enjoy French themed music at the hotel this evening.
Monday
Admire the exotic plants at Ventnor, where 6,000 species flourish in a unique microclimate which claims to be ‘Britain’s Hottest Garden’! Red Hot Pokers flower all year and UK Champion Trees thrive in this virtually frost-free environment. Try your luck at Bingo back at the hotel this afternoon before a drinks reception and Broadway hits in the ballroom this evening.
Tuesday
Take the scenic route to Isle Of Wight Pearl where beautiful jewellery has been crafted for over 30 years. This superb cliff-top attraction has wonderful views across the Channel, especially from the panoramic café. Continue to the ancient port of Yarmouth, where you’ll find a 16th century castle and a restored Victorian pier. Finish the day at the Museum of Island History in Newport’s early 19th century Guildhall, featuring exhibits from the Stone Age to the present day. Take a siesta before tonight's Spanish themed entertainment!
Wednesday
Visit one of the finest Roman sites in the UK at Brading Villa. Marvel at beautifully preserved mosaic floors and an ingenious collection of archaeology at this award-winning site. Round off the day with a stop in the quintessentially English village of Godshill. Will you fly high on the ‘Round the World’ quiz tonight?
Thursday
Spend the morning at the Wight Military & Heritage Museum amongst WWII exhibits including a French ambulance, weapons, tanks and more, with friendly volunteers often on hand to offer up interesting insights. A light, warm lunch is included before returning to the hotel. Enjoy cabaret entertainment from a local dance school tonight!
