Experience both on this festively themed tour as we cruise on Loch Lomond in the Trossachs National Park and spend time in the bustling city of Glasgow. Loch Lomond extends north from Balloch to Ardlui at a distance of 24 miles, making it Britain's largest stretch of inland water - experience endless views during a tranquil cruise on these deep blue waters. Glasgow is full of iconic landmarks including the McLennan Arch and The People's Palace in the famous Glasgow Green, you'll also have the chance to visit the newly opened Burrell Collection on the city's outskirts - this astonishing collection has undergone a major refurbishment with two new acquisitions on display for the first time! The Burrell Collection are also recent winners at the 2023 West of Scotland Thistle Awards for Best Visitor Attraction. There's also the chance to step in to the history books at Stirling Castle with a guided tour and to sip Scotland's national drink at the Glengoyne Distillery with a guided tasting.

Enjoy Scottish scenery en route to the hotel.

Monday

Start the day at one of Scotland’s grandest castles as you explore the Royal rooms and busy servant’s quarters - with stories and secrets from your knowledgeable guide at Stirling Castle. Return to the hotel for cream tea before dinner and entertainment this evening.

Tuesday

Start the day at Glengoyne Distillery, who have been producing “unhurried” single malt whiskies since 1833. Amble through the production process and taste two specially selected whiskies whilst overlooking the beautiful waterfall and glen. Warm up with a soup and sandwich lunch at the hotel before an afternoon cruise on Loch Lomond and enjoy awe-inspiring views of The National Park from these vast and tranquil waters. There’s a traditional Christmas dinner tonight and a visit from Santa.

Wednesday

Spend the morning at the newly reopened Burrell Collection in Glasgow where over 9000 artefacts will guide you through 6000 years of history including Chinese art, Roman sculptures, and Egyptian pottery. Afterwards, enjoy free time in the city - admire the architecture in St. George’s Square, step inside St. Mungo’s (Scotland’s oldest mainland cathedral), stroll beneath the McLennan Arch on your way to the People’s Palace, visit the Modern Art Gallery or maybe get ahead with Christmas shopping along Buchanan Street? Experience Scotland’s traditional Hogmanay celebrations with dinner and a show at the hotel tonight.
