Along with a unique highland cow safari there are visits to three grand gardens - from the exotic at Logan Botanic to the traditional at Castle Kennedy and the Robert Adam classic at Culzean Castle & Country Park.

Sunday
Enjoy a scenic drive to the hotel.
Monday
Travel inland, pausing for a wildlife photo opportunity at Red Deer Range before arriving in Newton Stewart to spend time in this quaint market town on the banks of the River Cree. This afternoon, get up close to Highland cows and learn about local farming traditions during a ‘Kitchen Coos & Ewes’ guided highland tour, with cream tea, at Airyolland Farm.
Tuesday
Look for the distinctive shape of Ailsa Craig as we take the coast road to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum which holds over 5000 artefacts and the opportunity to visit the humble cottage where life began for Scotland’s national poet. Then to cliff-top Culzean Castle, designed by Robert Adam in the late 18th century, this treasure trove is bursting with artefacts from one of the oldest clans in Scotland.
Wednesday
Experience the exotic at Logan Botanic Garden where an almost sub-tropical climate enables fascinating plants from around the world to flourish! Don't miss Logan's celebration of colour and form in their new exhibition from art psychotherapist, Claire Parker - 'Fireweed & Ferns'. Continue to the picture-postcard, pastel-coloured harbour town of Portpatrick, where cliffs surround the small bay. This afternoon, wander in Castle Kennedy Gardens, where you’ll find a riot of colour in the Walled Garden & rare Victorian waterlilies in the round pond – with impressive castle ruins for the backdrop.
