Tuesday
We make our way down to Devon.
Wednesday
Have a look around Tiverton, this morning, before we take a trip to the pretty South Devon coast to spend awhile in the charming resort of Budleigh Salterton.
Thursday
Meander along the pretty Exe Valley, stopping off in the delightful market town of Dunster, before another lovely ride over Porlock Hill and along the coast to the twin towns of Lynton and Lynmouth in the area known as ‘Little Switzerland’. Lynmouth sits at sea level, following the River Lyn down to the sea, whilst Lynton sits higher, full of quaint narrow lanes and independent shops to explore. You might like to travel between them on the famous Lynton and Lynmouth funicular Cliff Railway.
Friday
Visit the historic harbour town of Bideford, followed by the beautiful RHS gardens at Rosemoor. Bideford was once Britain’s third largest port and is now a thriving shopping centre, with a historic Pannier Market. Nearby, Rosemoor is enchanting garden and the iconic Hot Garden dazzles visitors with its vibrant summer colours.
