Relax and enjoy a leisurely stay by the sea in this popular south coast resort. Our hotel is right on the sea front so you can spend your free time perched in a deck chair on the beach with a good book, stroll along the Pier, explore the quirky shopping area known as ‘The Lanes’, visit the exotic Royal Pavilion or enjoy a bird’s eye view of the resort from the i360. We'll visit Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens which reopened in 2019 after being subject to the largest garden restoration in England and new planting in the Walled Garden at Parham has been establishing itself during 2022, ready for fresh colours to arrive this year. Click to view a factual map of Leonardslee that will help you plan your time here and watch this fascinating video of the open-air Weald and Downland Museum that will give you a short insight in to the historical importance of this quaint country museum, which we'll visit during a scenic drive through the South Downs National Park.

"We liked all the tours and thought the whole holiday was well balanced" 2022 customer comment.

We'd be delighted to request more rooms from the hotel for this popular tour, please send through your booking request and we'll check availability.

Monday

Check in to your seafront hotel with tea/coffee.

Tuesday

Enjoy Brighton at leisure. Your hotel is within 5 minutes’ walk of The Pier, The Royal Pavilion and ‘The Lanes’. Walk a little further along the seafront and you can experience Brighton from 450ft on the British Airways i360 Viewing Tower!

Wednesday

Start the day in the heart of the South Downs National Park at the Weald & Downland Living Museum, created to preserve the history of rural England and the untold stories of people living in it. This unique, open-air site explores 1000 years of traditional trades and crafts through fascinating working exhibits. Finish the day in Chichester enjoying its carefully preserved Georgian buildings and towering Cathedral. See for yourself why it was named as The Times 2023 'Best Place to Live in the Southeast'!

Thursday

Spend the morning at leisure before an afternoon in Elizabethan surroundings at Parham, a family home that’s changed little over the centuries, with sensitive restoration throughout. The great rooms are adorned with intricate tapestries and grand portraits, whilst outside you’ll find an ancient Walled Garden and 18th century Pleasure Grounds.

Friday

Depart, after breakfast, to spend time at Leonardslee Gardens. These Grade I listed, ancient woodland gardens reopened in 2019 following a huge restoration project. In the summer months you can expect to see late flowering Rhododendrons and Azaleas as you explore woodland walkways and looping paths, passing tranquil lakes and looking out for wandering wallabies along the way.
