Dorset’s picturesque coastline stretches for seven sandy miles along Bournemouth Bay. This sheltered spot on the south coast has been a favourite holiday destination for decades, it’s the perfect base for exploring the county’s history and heritage. Finish your daily adventures with entertainment at the hotel every evening along with a FREE BAR every night.
Visit Dorset’s Tank Museum during their centenary year and walk in the footsteps of a WWI soldier during a unique guided tour. As part of the museum's 100th birthday celebrations a special conservation area, not normally available for public viewing, will be open!
Highcliffe Castle have just announced their annual programme of art exhibitions and we're pleased to be visiting whilst the special 'If These Walls Could Talk' collection is on display. This unique display of imagery explores the crumbly castle walls, looking at graffiti names and traces of wallpaper left behind over the years. Expect to come across some interesting characters during our visit to Highcliffee, too, as actors create an interactive trail for 'Hidden Histories' day.
