Explore coast and country on this nostalgic day out in Norfolk. Start and finish your day in the Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham where its award winning family beach is just a stone's throw from some great local fish and chip shops. This old fishing village has lovely scenic walks along the promenade to enjoy in summertime. Board a vintage engine on The Poppy Line, part of the North Norfolk Railway, to enjoy some lovely summer scenery through coast and country, all the way to the Georgian town of Holt. At Holt Station you'll find a model railway and beautifully preserved goods vehicles. Fare only seats are available from £32.50 for anyone that wishes to spend the day in Sheringham.
We're due to arrive in Sheringham at 12:00 with free time to enjoy this lovely seaside town before the train departs at 13:40 for your return journey to Holt, arriving back in Sheringham at 14:54. We'll head home at 17:15. The coach will set down and pick up in the Station Yard Car Park and there will be a 45 minute comfort stop at Dobbies Garden Centre in Kings Lynn on the outward journey. Note for passengers boarding at Serpentine Green. There are road closures on the slip roads at junction 3 of the Fletton Parkway, the coach will pick up as planned but please allow more time to get to your departure point.
