This awesome site has something for everyone! Within the hangers you'll find the National Cold War Exhibition with a unique display of three nuclear bombers, the War in the Air Exhibition featuring rare enemy aircraft, and new for September 2020, is the Battle of Britain Display, home to the world's oldest Spitfire! As of April 2022 RAF Museum Midlands acquired a legendary 'Bravo November' Chinook as a part of the Falklands 40 - Bravo November commemorations. This reputable aircraft was one of the original 30 Chinooks ordered by The RAF in 1978 and has served in every major conflict of the last 40 years. In May 2021 a fantastic new outdoor play area opened. This adventurous addition was conjured up with help from RAF Cosford's very own Physical Training Instructors to reflect some of the training experiences that personnel go through. We're due to arrive at 11:30 and depart at 16:30, there will be a short stop at Corley Services on the outward and return journey. Museum entry is free so you'll only pay for travel on this great value day out.

We offer FREE activity sheets and crayons for our younger passengers, just let us know when you book (suitable for under 10's).

The Museum regularly undertakes a programme of maintenance and conservation, so some exhibits or Hangars may be temporarily inaccessible. If you are visiting to see something specific, please contact The Museum in advance to ensure it that it is on display and available for public viewing.
