This awesome site has something for everyone! Within the hangers you'll find the National Cold War Exhibition with a unique display of three nuclear bombers, the War in the Air Exhibition featuring rare enemy aircraft and the Battle of Britain Display which opened in 2020 and is home to the world's oldest Spitfire! As of April 2022 RAF Museum Midlands acquired a legendary Bravo November Chinook as a part of the Falklands 40 - Bravo November commemorations. This reputable aircraft was one of the original 30 Chinooks ordered by The RAF in 1978 and has served in every major conflict of the last 40 years. GE Aerospace are taking over with free fast jet activities that everyone will love this Easter! Soar through the skies on the state-of-the-art simulator and blast off in the wind tunnel! Don't miss the fantastic new outdoor play area which opened in May '21. This adventurous addition was conjured up with help from RAF Cosford's very own Physical Training Instructors to reflect some of the training experiences that personnel go through.

We're due to arrive at 11:30 and depart at 16:30, there will be a short stop at Corley Services on the outward and return journey. Museum entry is free so you'll only pay for travel on this great value day out. You might also like the Lincolnshire Aviation and Heritage Centre on 31 May.
