Be quick - two spaces have just become available for this popular cruise. You might like River Orwell Afternoon Tea Cruise on Thur 15 Aug or Norfolk Broads by Rail & Paddle Boat on Fri 27 Sep.
After a lunchtime break in the spa town of Buxton, step back on board for a short ride to Whaley Bridge to enjoy a leisurely afternoon on the 72 foot canal boat The Judith Mary. Your two hour cruise takes you along the Upper Peak Forest Canal with magnificent mountain views including the impressive Kinder Scout - the highest plateau in the UK. Enjoy a generous cream tea as you sail with a well stocked licensed bar available too. Customer favourite - book early, eight sell-out dates in the last two years. "We enjoyed a great day trip to Buxton, Peak District and canal cruise with (a yummy) afternoon tea!", "The tea was excellent and shall I say substantial!" and "The crew on the canal boat were so helpful and welcoming".
We're due to arrive in Buxton at 12:45, departing at 14:00 for Whaley Bridge. We sail at 14:30, returning to the pier at 16:30 before heading home. There will be a short stop at Notcutts Nottingham on the outward journey and at Tibshelf Services on the return journey.
