Start the day at the Whistlestop Café at Aylsham Station where a warm welcome and a festive lunch awaits. Choose from a traditional Roast Turkey with all the trimmings or a Vegetarian Lasagne, followed by a choice of desserts, tea/coffee and a warm mince pie. Once you're feeling festively full it's time to board the Bure Valley Railway for a nostalgic 45 minute journey on Norfolk's longest narrow gauge railway. Your journey from Aylsham to Wroxham passes through pretty countryside, following the meandering River Bure through meadows and pastures. Wroxham is known as the 'Capital of the Broads' and there's free time for Christmas shopping before heading home. Perhaps visit Roys which claims to be "the largest village store in the world"!

The coach is due to arrive at Aylsham Station at 12:00, with lunch served at 12:15. At 14:00 the train departs for Wroxham Station, arriving at 14:45. Take the 15 minute coach transfer from here to Wroxham centre for free time before heading home at 16:15. There will be a 30 minute comfort stop at Dobbies Garden Centre in Kings Lynn on the outward journey. Please let us know any dietary requirements and your choice of main at the time of booking.
