Take a guided tour around the splendid Georgian manor that was once the childhood home of William Morris, now an award-winning gallery dedicated to his life and work. Beautiful rooms illustrate his many talents and interests from wallpaper to furniture and book publishing to politics. Back on the coach, our guide will regale you with the history of Epping Forest before giving you free time to lunch in the old market town of Epping. Continue to the Lee Valley for a 90-minute cream tea cruise, watching the world roll by and gleaning interesting snippets from the guide.
The coach is due to arrive at the William Morris Gallery at 11:00, there's free time in Epping from 13:15-14:45 before boarding the cruise at 15:30. We're due to head home at 17:15. There will be a services comfort stop on the outward journey. Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
