The cobbled streets of Cathedral Quarter are full of history and home to independent shops and boutiques. You can enjoy free entry to the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, home to an authentic World War One tank and winners of a 2022 Travellers Choice Award from TripAdvisor. Lincoln Castle's impressive Victorian Prison and Medieval Wall Walk make for a fascinating day out whilst Lincoln Cathedral is one of Europe's finest Gothic buildings and home to a 15th century collection of books above the cloisters in "the most beautiful room in England".
The Cultural Quarter is a fascinating area to wander through and features The Collection and Usher Gallery - an award-winning archaeology museum and art gallery holding items from the Stone Age through to the Romans. The Cornhill Quarter is an exciting social area in the heart of the city with tasty food and drink options alongside unique independents.
