Join Kew for a unique festival celebrating the queer beauty of plants and fungi. With breathtaking new art and horticultural installations, Queer Nature will delve into the amazing world of plants and fungi living outside the binary and explore what these stories mean to us. Marvel over a stunning, large-scale, suspended artwork by artist Jeffrey Gibson at the centre of the Temperate House and a specially designed garden by Patrick Featherstone. This colourful exhibition finishes on 29 October, don't miss it.
This stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site is full of exciting attractions including an 18m high Treetop Walkway, a towering interactive sculpture named 'Hive' that captures the life of the honeybee, 14,000 trees in the Arboretum including Giant redwoods and mighty oaks, 130 species in the Bamboo Garden (with its own traditional Japanese Minka House), a dramatic Rock Garden, Arctic blooms in the Alpine House, an indoor rainforest in The Palm House, free daily talks and endless trails to explore ... the list goes on! Find out more.
"I thought The Hive metal sculpture was amazing. It really looks like a swarm of bees." Customer comment, Feb '23. Kew won Best Garden Visit at the 2023 Group Leisure & Travel awards for the fourth year running proving just how well groups are catered for here.
