Don't miss the chance to see this beautifully cared for Norfolk estate in all its summer glory. Your ticket includes the new Holkham Stories Experience, a free-flow tour of the Hall, garden entry and free time in Holt.
The interactive Holkham Stories Experience celebrates this thriving estate's 400 year history. Stories range from the Coke families influence over the Gunpowder Plot prosecution to the bricks that were made onsite to build the Hall. Continue to the Hall, an 18th-century Palladian style house that has remained largely unchanged over the years. The Marble Hall is an impressive place to start with its 50ft domed ceiling, then follow the grand staircase to the opulent state rooms featuring red velvet-lined walls and royal bedchambers. Experienced stewards will be present to answer your questions.
Later, our coach will be available to take you to the beautiful 6-acre walled garden or you can stroll there through the beautifully landscaped parkland. Originally laid out during the late 1700s, the gardens are divided into squares and slips, each with their own theme and we think that they’re as impressive as the Hall itself. An exciting rejuvenation project is underway in the Walled Garden. See the restoration of Georgian and Victorian glasshouses, the redesign of the Ornamental Garden, young vines in The Vineyard, evolving hot plants in The Exotic Garden and much more.
Holkham Hall hold a 2023 Travellers' Choice Award from Tripadvisor (ranking within the top 10% of attractions on Tripadvisor!). Find out about all the things you can see and do at Holkham Estate.
