Visit the heart of Yorkshire, where the streets buzz and the rich spa heritage lives on! We can thank the Victorians for Harrogate's popularity, its reputation as a luxurious, relaxing, spa destination continues to this day!
Harrogate is home to great attractions such as Bettys Tea Rooms (of course!), The Royal Pump Museum, Mercer Art Gallery and The Turkish Baths and Spa. A summer highlight has to be the English Heritage Grade II Listed Valley Gardens (pictured). You'll find an array of different garden styles and, when combined with the nearby woodland, you have over 17 acres to wander amongst - and best of all, the gardens are free!
For those of you wanting to shop you'll find the Victorian Shopping Centre full of all your favourite brands. But be sure not to miss the delightful, cobbled Montpellier Quarter where you'll find antiques, boutiques, jewellers, independents and cafés.
We're due to arrive at 13:00 and depart at 17:30, giving you a full afternoon to enjoy this pretty Yorkshire town.
