See the gardens and courtyards at Hampton Court Palace alive with colour, as thousands of tulips are expected to bloom for their annual Tulip Festival - one of the UK's biggest displays of planted tulips! The first festival was held in spring 2021, it was declared a huge success and has been a firm customer favourite ever since. Expect to see floral displays pouring from the Tudor wine fountain and floating tulip vases! Special trails guides visitors around the stunning floral displays, revealing the history of the tulips, believed to date back to Queen Mary II in the 1600s. The Palace's expert gardening team will be on hand to provide tips and information to keen gardeners throughout the day.
