Spend a lazy day in Norfolk and take in some fresh sea air. In the morning we'll stop in Fakenham, well known for its traditional weekly market that dates back to 1250 and often referred to as "Norfolk's friendliest weekly market"! Then on to the classic seaside town of Cromer with its long sandy beach and traditional Victorian pier. There are some lovely walks along the Norfolk Coast Path from Cromer and the free-to-enter Lifeboat Museum provides a lovely insight in to the local maritime history. There's the chance to treat yourself to fresh fish and chips by the sea for tea, of course.
In July 2022 Cromer was awarded Blue Flag status. Blue Flags are internationally recognised and only presented to well-managed beaches with excellent water quality.
We're due to arrive in Fakenham at 11:30 and depart at 13:45 for Cromer. We'll arrive in Cromer at 14:30 and depart at 17:15.
