Ely's majestic Cathedral, fondly referred to as "The Ship of the Fens" and "one of the wonders of the Medieval World", is proudly hosting a truly unique exhibition that showcases a wide variety of intricate embroidery from 1876 to the 1960s. 'Clothed in Glory' displays pieces from the archives of the Community of the Sisters of the Church, each demonstrating a wide variety of techniques and styles and an imaginative use of textiles. The exhibition also includes a beautiful display of chalice veils from Ely Cathedral’s own collection. Here until 16 March only, don't miss your chance to see it.

Your cathedral ticket is valid for the whole day and can be used for re-entry, it also includes a free in-person tour or a multi-media guide (both subject to availability, please enquire upon arrival). The coach is due to arrive at 11:30 and will depart at 16:15, setting down and picking up near the Cathedral's west door.
