Sit back and enjoy the scenery of Derbyshire’s lovely Peak District National Park. Stretch your legs in Castleton, at the head of the Hope Valley and overlooked by Mam Tor, before passing the Ladybower Reservoir (where the Dambusters trained) and driving over the famously exciting Snake Pass! Take in the delightful Dales and finish the day in Bakewell, the ‘capital’ of the Peak District and home to the famous Bakewell Pudding! 2000 years ago the Romans discovered the warm springs of Bakewell and it has been attracting visitors ever since. Expect to find roaming wildfowl and charming cottages set amongst the winding, tranquil banks of the River Wye.
We're due to arrive in Castleton at 12:15 and will depart at 13:45, we'll then arrive in Bakewell at 15:30 and head home at 16:45. There will be a 30 minute services comfort stop on the outward journey.
