Clacton-on-Sea is the largest town on the Essex Sunshine Coast with a traditional pleasure pier, seafront walks and a lively shopping area. Of course, the fish and chips are pretty good too! In July 2022 Clacton-on-Sea was awarded a prestigious Seaside Award, presented to England's best beaches to celebrate the quality and diversity of our coastline. Every year, Clacton Seafront hosts two days of thrilling flight displays alongside a host of ground events on the West Greensward. The theme for this year's event is 'celebrating amazing experiences and amazing people'. We're due to arrive at 12:30 and we'll depart at 17:30. There'll be a 30 minute break at Cambridge Services on the outward journey. Note for passengers boarding at Serpentine Green. There are road closures on the slip roads at junction 3 of the Fletton Parkway, the coach will pick up as planned but please allow more time to get to your departure point.
