A very special Royal day out that includes access to the Palace's elaborate State Rooms, a guided highlights tour through the glorious gardens and access to the Coronation exhibition (here until 24 Sep only).

This unique garden highlights tour takes you along the beautiful Herbaceous Border, to the wisteria-clad summer house, Rose Garden, the enormous Waterloo Vase and the Palace tennis court, where King George VI and Fred Perry played in the 1930s! Don't miss a visit to the Garden Café and Garden Shop whilst you're here.

The State Rooms, at the heart of Buckingham Palace, provide the setting for ceremonial occasions and official entertaining, where The King and members of the Royal Family welcome guests from all walks of life. Highlights include the Picture Gallery, home to some of the finest artworks in the Royal Collections, The Throne Room with its dramatic arch and canopy and The Ballroom where the end of the Crimean War was celebrated.

New for 2023! The magnificent outfits worn by Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla at the Coronation will go on display as part of the Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace. Step into the Ballroom to get up close to the Robe of Estate worn by The King, which was also worn by his grandfather King George VI for his Coronation in 1937. Don’t miss the chance to take a closer look at Queen Camilla’s beautiful Coronation Dress and Robe of Estate.

Buckingham Palace are winners of a 2023 Travellers' Choice Award from Tripadvisor (ranked within the top 10% of attractions on Tripadvisor!).
