With its towering minster, pretty market squares and beautiful Georgian townhouses, it’s steeped in history. Easily explored on foot, the town has a perfect mix of independent boutiques, high street favourites and a lively market atmosphere. Don’t miss the Minster, arguably one of Europe’s best Gothic buildings before heading across to the opposite end of town where you’ll find St. Mary’s Church.
