The stylish Glass Works is a brand new shopping and leisure destination that's also home to Barnsley Indoor Market. Alongside traditional greengrocers, butchers and fishmongers, you'll find delicatessens, florists, quality clothing and essential services like cobblers - you'll be spoilt for choice with over 100 stalls across two floors, click to find out about all the traders. Also in The Glass Works is Market Kitchen where you'll find three market cafés and mini outlets serving up traditional favourites to enjoy on the outdoor terrace, offering views across the new public square. On a Tuesday the outdoor market is also open, offering a real mix of products throughout the town centre, as is the specialist second-hand market which is a great place to bag a real bargain!

Whilst you're here, it's free entry to the Experience Barnsley Museum and Discovery Centre where you can uncover stories of the town and borough, told by the people of Barnsley. There's also regular pop up exhibitions to look out for too.
